Pablo Villavicencio, 35, was doing his job delivering a pizza to an army base. He needed a visitor pass, requiring a background check waiver, revealing a deport warrant. He committed no crime, & had already applied for a greed card. This was in NYC!

Manuel Antonio Cano Pacheco would have graduate from high school last month. Instead, he was killed 3 weeks after ICE deported him to Mexico, a country he left when he was 3. Pacheco had been a DACA recipient, but his renewal didn’t come through on time.

👉Accusations of rape and physical abuse.

I totally broke down while making this thread. I can’t believe the nation we’ve become. Anti immigrant racist sentiment is being stoked by Trump and Republicans because it benefits them politically, and because they have a hard on for “owning the libs.”

The Trump admin cut the advertising budget for the ACA by 90%.

FOIA obtained emails show this was knowingly designed to harm enrollment, and they repeatedly lied about that fact.

Dem House oversight puts an end to the sabotage. Remember what they did when they had the power.
On a call w/ reporters, in response to whether HHS had studied the efficacy of advertising, an official said, “We haven’t done a specific study related to the public awareness of the program.”

It was a lie. They had, & knew it would harm enrollment.

The day open enrollment began, the Trump administrator of ACA benefits wrote a tweet designed to scare Americans away from enrolling.

Now that Dems have won House oversight, she’s promoting enrollment. Oversight stops the sabotage.
