1/ Facebook updated its state-by-state breakdown of the Cambridge Analytica data breach/leak. Interesting to compare it to states listed in the contract between Kogan/Chancellor (GSR) and Alexander Nix (SCL) to do matching for voters in AR CO FL IA LA NV NH NC OR SC WV 
2/ Never forget that Joseph Chancellor was a co-equal business partner in GSR and was curiously hired by Facebook as this scandal unfolded. It has still not been explained to the Senators who asked about it, pending an internal investigation. It’s appalling really.
3/ There are lots of discrepancies that are not understood between the states targeted in the GSR/SCL contract and the breakdown provided by Facebook. It hasn’t been unraveled fully for the public to review.
4/ One factor is that SCL/CA insisted it only paid for 30M accounts matched, so one hypothesis is the 87M is total harvested and a subset was delivered. Another issue is Nix has mentioned a subsequent contract that superceded this one provided by Wylie to DMCS committee.
5/ I share all this because we still don’t know exactly how it all happened. There are still so many unanswered and unasked questions to the biggest data privacy scandal ever. And it’s potentially being prosecuted as data crimes by ICO in UK. We await ICO’s final report.
