Okay, what the hell, first of all, the satanic panic went out in the 90’s and the world rejoiced. Plus there is the whole “it was utter bullshit” thing.
Not amount of playing records backwards actually gave any satan worshipping murderer a legal leg to stand on.
Is this a cyclical concern or is this film trying to invoke the notoriety of our historical rock bad boys to increase Andy Beerpong’s profile?
The opening quotes... oh mah gads is this parody? Neil Young & Bowie warning us that Rock is going make us all demon riddled.
Thankfully, this film mostly has hard core pop in it. We all gin’ survive!
All American vocalist & nice guy, gorgeous girlfriend & a mum who must have had him when she was 2 years old.

There is just so much wrong with this film that it is worthy of ALL derision.This is a bad TV Movie with delusions of grandeur.
It opened in theatres on Friday 13th I kid you not & no amount of Malcolm McDowell was going to save it.
Normally he would turn even the worst film into a worthy watch. Alas, maybe he’s tired after that Star Trek thing. That was harsh.
There seems to be some confusion. Does Satan needs the band et al to do bad things with their free will or is he making them do the bad?
Because, if it’s their free will, man, is Johnny ever a bad dude. And his band mates are spineless.
If the dude I assume is Satan is causing their behaviour he doesn’t need them. He can achieve whatever he wants.

Errr, why hire a vocalist for the lead in a music film and then use: Someone. Else’s. Vocals.? It’s not his superlative acting.
Okay, wtf, now it’s like they didn’t quite know where they wanted the film to go, or how to end, so they just showed us a few & we can choose.
Or maybe that’s just how it feels.
Ooh, Satan McDowell is dating Pong’s mum. He’s also the bassist. Fascinating^.
