OK Twitter, it’s been a tough week. Let’s settle this one:

What is the most NOSTALGIC song of all time?

I nominate “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac.
This is a GREAT answer.

I heard this song a few months back out of the blue and felt such a deep and immediate nostalgia for so many people who are gone.

Like I couldn’t breathe.

I always liked this song, but to this day I have NO IDEA what he’s saying.

Seems emblematic of a certain time in the 90s to feel so strongly about something so vague.

So many great songs. Loving these entries.

So far it seems to be neck and neck between “Yesterday” and “Let it Be.”

But I think the objective right answer might be “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison.

Though I think a case can be made for “Fake Plastic Trees” by Radiohead.
OK I’d like to throw into the mix:

“The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by the beautiful, legendary, inimitable Roberta Flack.

I dare you to listen to this song and not think about your whole life.
We have a dark horse late entry for the crown.

99.9% of Americans earn less than $10 million a year.

Taxing 0.1% of the population 70% on every dollar AFTER their first ten million would NOT harm the economy.

What other countries spend on health care & infrastructure, we spend on low taxes for the super wealthy.
This type of spending is GOOD for the economy since accumulated wealth doesn't circulate while the economic benefit of improved infrastructure, education and health care is MASSIVELY beneficial to productivity (not to mention quality of life for 320 million people).
I'm seeing this argument in conservative circles that taxing the rich is "unethical."

What utter horseshit.

What's unethical is letting people die in the street from inadequate health care just so some banker can afford a second yacht.

Right now in America people are donating money they don’t have to build a wall they don’t need to solve a problem that doesn’t exist.
The GoFundMe for the Wall has raised about $3 million in 3 days.

At this rate, the Wall will be fully-funded by...2086.

Racists are bad at math.

I'll explain why below, but first I want to stress that VanEck & SolidX have done great work this year. Unfortunately, some things are out of their control, and it's possible the markets just aren't ready for an ETF yet.
2/ When we last discussed the ETF on September 20, the SEC had just stated its "grounds for disapproval under consideration."

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

It’s obvious that Dems have gone off the rails. When you call 63 million Americans Nazis and racists and irredeemable, you’re clearly not sane. So, how should we respond? Ignore them. that will drive them more insane.
When they lie, we should correct their lies, over and over again, as we have been doing with the lies about children on the border. But when they go full bore insane and call us racist or Nazis, just ignore them. Their time is short anyway.

You know that work I’ve tweeted about lately that I was really excited about? I’d got to the last (3rd) round, done a ton of documentation and pitch prep, and even spent some of my weekend making them a little bonus data vis. I didn’t get the project. Really gutted. 😞
In my younger life, as a bit of an over-achiever, I spent a lot of my life not failing. The only two memorable things were not getting a medal in an international sports event I was selected to compete in, and that sole A to go with the 9 A*s I got at GCSE level. Hard times 🙄
