I’m still learning what a social frenzy late 2017 created for the mainstream around #crypto, and the shenanigans of opportunistic charlatans.

If the #crypto tide continues to go out there will be more dead bodies found, and the regulators will surface many regardless.

All of this is a cleanse for #crypto. The scammers were drawn to a bright light, keen to exploit, and importantly, were not part of the community that created “#crypto” over the many years prior.

Good riddance for now, but we need to be better prepared for when they return in #crypto’s next mini-bubble.
