The mainstream has almost entirely forgotten about #bitcoin again.

In conversations with people from home, many recall the #crypto hype from a year ago, but have stopped paying attention since.

Yes, there are a lot more “decisions makers” that have gained a basic understanding of #crypto, which is great.

And the technologists & financial folks that feed off the bleeding edge continue to pay attention, invest, or build, just as happened in 2015.

But the mainstream? For most, #crypto is still not relevant to their life.

If they didn’t invest in 2017, they’ve forgotten. If they did, chances are they have a bad taste in their mouth and want to forget.

I don’t say this to dishearten us. Quite the opposite.

We remain in the “installation phase” of #crypto (image: ipfs.io/ipfs/QmZL4eT1g…), where the primary users are developers & investors.

There is so much left to build and promise to be realized, which is massively exciting!
