THREAD // Success, Friendship and Your Inner Circle

As my business grows, my circle continues to get smaller and smaller

The number of friends I talk to every week: 3

The number of friends I talk to every month: Maybe 5

The Inner Circle is small...

Everyone's busy doing their own thing and the conversations are brief

As you "move up," you'll lose contact with certain friends and some will completely drop out

You have less in common...

Less things that are relatable...

You're going in different directions...

On the other hand, my network keeps expanding

Millionaires and multi-millionaires

Young bucks with something to prove

Movers n' shakers

I'm always making new business contacts now

But there's a constant filtering process going on

I'm at the point where I expect excellence from everyone around me

I'm always pruning who I follow on social media

And I'm very aware of who I give my time

Time is limited and this is the only way to keep growing

You protect your environment, but you also create it

It's not that you want to get rid of your old friends

That's rarely the case (for me)

You're just drawn to other people who can add value to your life in a unique way

And this is very much in your control
