Today’s cable “news” is no longer Journalism but, a talk show reward goes to @MSNBC @HallieJackson they discussed Scott Pruitt’s corruption, showed video of teacher confrontation, then turns back to panel who says testimony of his aides mean more because they are Republican
Then basically say it doesn’t matter because Trump and his family have same sort of scandal and ethics violations, but, no pressure from Congressional GOP and his voters don’t care..laugh a little and move on..This is not Journalism, it’s cause of death in 2018, Cable media panel
with reporters who have no clue about the subject to do deep dive of nuance. They had a nerve to say it’s a slow “news” week, perhaps if you tried to give a subject more than 5 mins of talking points cramming it in to segments...They’ve spent more time dissecting Cohen’s message
and to whom? All subjective opinions...Sigh

So what exactly is the message in media in regards to Pruitt abusing taxpayer funds? It doesn’t matter because POTUS won’t do anything? I’m so confused about Journalism on some cable shows these days. @washingtonpost @AP @USATODAY @anitakumar01
“These things get more attention
because Trump tweets 10 times a day”-a panelist today
@MarkLeibovich @JohnJHarwood @jaketapper @Lawrence @mitchellreports @NewsHour @ABC @NBCNews
“Trump may be bad for America, but, he’s great for ratings”-Les Moonves
We are still operating under that model.
