2. History will judge this period through a different lens. The 'hurry the F up pressure' may well become a tale of heroics that will be retold and memorialized in the vein of "The Untouchables".
3. The editorializations that seek to vilify and undermine the institutions that serve to protect us will also live on, quite possibly, in infamy - likewise with the GOP leadership that has chosen party over country, consequences be damned.
4. Think about it. 2 candidates under investigation - but only one is public. The substance of these investigations arguably differ in severity. The US electorate is under a cyberattack from a foreign power to sway the election in the favor of DT.
5. Of course the FBI felt the pressure of this situation. That's their job. Of course they needed to investigate the Trump campaign. And, of course, they would want to turn over as many stones as they could before the election.
6. In reality, the slow-action and privacy afforded this investigation is why we're all in this situation today. In reality, both the IC and DOJ underestimated the possibility that the Russians would be so successful in their political attacks on our country.
7. That's what should be being scrutinized and examined at this point - because their success ensures they will keep doing it. Stop pearl clutching over the FBI doing their job and salivating over word choice in personal texts. History may not remember you fondly for it.
