Fitness thread.

Just because some movement works for somebody else, doesn't mean it MUST work for you either.
Too many people are obsessed over Benchpress/Squat/Deadlift.

Yes, these are basic movements that should work for all, but in reality - they don't.

Why? Keep reading
EVERY BODY IS DIFFERENT (pun intended).

Usually the problem lies in mobility issues.
Due to sedentary lifestyle, we aren't as mobile, our Range of Motion is not natural and optimal, it's limited.

Fitness gurus love to market the squat and brand it as "THE KING OF BODYBUILDING"
The squat is a basic movement, very useful one, but not many today are capable of doing it correctly, resulting in injuries and plateaus.
Try to sit in a deep squat for 10 minutes and see how it feels to you, most chances you'll fall forward.
What else?

Different bodies respond differently to exercises.
Just try as many exercise as you can, including machines, and see how the muscle contraction feels to you.
Try for a while and track progress, if you progress and it feels good, keep doing it.
I don't do Flat benchpress, I do Incline bench.
I don't do squats, I stick to leg presses/extensions/curls and deadlifts
I don't do Barbell curls, I do Machine preacher curls.

There's no One-Size fits all here, you gotta try everything and stick with what works for you
I'm not a personal trainer or a fitness guru.
I workout for enough time and I learned a lot, tried a lot and failed a lot. I know my shit pretty good.

If you have any questions, feel free to reply to that thread, I'm bored and have some free time now.
