Forgot about this. Ohio does indeed have this bullshit law. Dancers can also be arrested for putting thumbs in their own bikini bottom/underwear & temporarily moving fabric too far from skin
As far as I know—-& I haven’t lived in Ohio for a while—arresting strippers over petty nonsense is not uncommon, but usually predicated on some completely unrelated background grudge or politics. So @MichaelAvenatti speculation re: @StormyDaniels arrest is far from insane
Once, back in the dark ages of ‘04 or ‘05, dancers at one Columbus club kept being targeted because the city wanted the club’s land for development
Another Columbus strip club, IIRC, saw dancers intimidated by local cops cause owners weren’t abiding by the city’s smoking ban
Come to think of it, mid-aughts strip club regs & smoking bans really did wonders for my budding libertarianism
