The fact that you have a Congressman claiming his ability to read body language because he is also a dentist is the basis for evidence against Strozk suggests they were really grasping at straws.

The fact that there is no evidence that Strozk used his position to truly sink Trump when he had enormous leverage to do so is pretty persuasive. Maybe he had a "bias" but that he did not act on it was to his credit.

And Strozk was part of the FBI process that led to the release of the Clinton letter to Congress. Again, not really consistent with a desire to stop Trump.

All of this is public information, and it you tuned out of the Strozk shitshow because you assume it was a mindless fishing expedition, well, you were right.

GOPers today seemed genuinely persuaded that Strozk would be a big win for them. They would finally nail this guy, regardless of the fact they had no evidence to speak of. Its felt so much cynical as cultlike. They have drank their own Kool-Aid.
