First ride in one of the new hybrid London black cabs; holy cow they're great!
Giant moonroof to let you see London's more interesting side; slightly larger, but per usual, all extra space goes to the passenger not the driver or largely unused boot.
Even better a11y and in-cabin controls. Per passenger USB power. Crikey these are good.
Proper power if you need and an upgrade to 3 rumble seats.

Every time I see this wikipedia page it once-again blows my mind that Apple is shipping chips in *phones* with 8MB of *L2* cache:

To put that in perspective, here's the fastest shipping chip in the Android ecosystem that I'm aware of today: en.wikichip.org/wiki/samsung/e…
It has 2MB of L2 cache and 4MB of L3.

In Dec 2018, the US Senate receivedTWO research reports re: Russian social media targeted disinformation psyops: one from New Knowledge and the other from the Computational Propaganda Project at Oxford University and Graphika, a company that specializes in analyzing social media.
As per usual the mainstream media blew past the reports as if they merely restated previously released info such as that found in Mueller's Russian indictmentsand investigations of Cambridge Analytica’s similar and related shenanigans, and so did Twitter:

John Russell Fearn was a prolific pulp writer. Known in the UK for his western and detective novels, he was also the first British writer to really break into the American sci-fi pulp market during the pre-war era.
But after the war Fearn struggled to sell stories to the American sci-fi magazine market (even with the help of Frederik Pohl as an agent) and instead concentrated on the UK. He still wrote science fiction the Toronto Star Weekly, but it didn't pay much.
