1. Do you want to be smarter than the Left? Better than them?

If so, ask yourself a critical question - how long can we go on like this?

2. By "like this", I mean the division, hatred, and outrage that we are mired in every day now. The Media is mostly to blame, but if we are dedicated we can work around them.

3. One of the biggest mistakes of the American left is that they FORGOT that there are MILLIONS of people out there who don't agree with them. You can see it in everything they do, they are convinced that millions of Americans simply do not exist.

4. Making the same mistake on the right would be calamitous. That means we have to saddle up and understand that at some point, we need UNITY with those we disagree with. Seriously, can you imagine this hatred going on for another decade? Two?

5. I write this in the context of the Mueller investigation. There are two important facets to that investigation.

- It must follow the rules, and play the process out to the letter
- It must not appear one-sided or tainted TO PEOPLE ON THE LEFT

6. Of course, there will always be a sizeable contingent of them, the antifa types or the crazy SJWs, who will never believe anything. They will assume that Mueller was bought out by Russia or some nonsense. Ignore them.

7. But the silent majority (Yes, the Silent Majority) of SANE DEMOCRATS must be presented with a convincing investigation. Right now they buy the MSM narrative of Collusion or Obstruction - but they are sane enough that they can be swayed.

8. There is no collusion for Trump to be charged with. If Obstruction based on Comey was under investigation by Mueller, Rod Rosenstein would have recused himself. (That's why HE sent the memo for Trump to fire Comey).

9. WHEN Mueller releases his report that he found no evidence of collusion and no obstruction, the Right will have no problem accepting that result. In fact, the ones who have freaked out about it will have egg on their face, but that's fine.

10. Trump has GIVEN THE MEDIA AND LEFT AN ESCAPE HATCH, by calling it a witch hunt. Watch how it works:

Mueller: "We found no evidence of collusion"
Left: "HA! I THOUGHT YOU SAID IT WAS A WITCH HUNT YOU DUMMY DRUMPF?! IF IT WAS SUCH A WITCH HUNT, WHY ARE YOU INNOCENT NOW?"

11. They are primed to accept his innocence as a method to bash him for being "dumb" and calling it a witch hunt. You see, it isn't hard to figure out their mindset because they are a product of the MSM.

12. The more rational center-left Dems will accept the report on its face, and Trump's presidency won't be permanently tarnished by the "collusion" narrative.

13. I do not expect Mueller to be secretly prosecuting the Clintons, or anything like that - that isn't his job. I will reiterate: He is to produce a result that will be convincing to a majority of Americans. Not just Republicans, AMERICANS.

14. The person who makes the mistake of the Left, who believes that their disagreeing countrymen aren't out there and don't really exist in large numbers - that is the person who doesn't care what the other side thinks.

15. If Mueller is fired, or shuts down his investigation prematurely, or breaks the rules by not prosecuting people for whom he has evidence of a crime, or is forced to not conclude in full, we are in very deep trouble - Because our left-wing countrymen won't buy it.

16. This IS THE MISTAKE that Comey made. This is why it's so dangerous - *we* can all see how outrageous it is that he did not move forward with the Clintons. That decision has done irreparable damage to the cohesiveness of our society.

17. And you think that Mueller should create the same outrage in the hearts and minds of our left-wing countrymen? That is INSANE.

18. We don't have anything to worry about from Robert Mueller. We DO have something to worry about in the hatred and division between us and the millions of Americans who are on the other side of the aisle ideologically.

19. It's EASY to hate, and to fear. The difficult road is thinking about the opposite perspective and trying to see things through their eyes. But we've gotten to where we're at because everybody has taken the easy path. Let's not repeat that mistake.
