My pinned tweet is one of my best threads. When people come across a tweet of mine and visit my profile, it's instant social proof and credibility.
This makes people want to follow me.
This is probably the most important part of Twitter. Everyone's got an opinion, but most are too scared to share it unapologetically. If you want people to pay attention, you have to take an extreme positions on things.
This is how you explode your following. I'm a 21 year old college drop out that makes multiple 6-figures online. That's rare. It draws people in, because they want to do the same, but don't know how.
People tweet at/DM me all the time about how they're loving my tweets, emails, and course. I make sure to let that be known because when people see that my followers are getting value, they want to be followers, too.
For whatever reason, people eat up inspirational shit on Twitter. Think it makes them feel better about not reaching their full potential. Inspiration is powerful because it leads to strong emotions.
Make people feel things.
Getting retweeted by bigger accounts is the single fastest way to get followers. When people like @AJA_Cortes or @EdLatimore RT my stuff, I get a lot of followers. There's no hack to this. Tweet high quality shit.
Making people curious is extremely powerful. It's like a short circuit in the human brain. Once they get curious, they have to figure out what's going on or else it eats away at them like a maggot on week old beef.
Everyone knows this. But most don't do it right. Giving away "value" doesn't mean whoring out your knowledge for free. I give away very little hard info on Twitter. Save that for the people who will use it (customers).
The whole "100 tweets per day" thing is unnecessary. I tweet like 20-40 times/day. Could I tweet more? Sure. But I think I get more mileage out of tweeting less, but higher quality shit.
Consistency, as always, is king.
My tweets are flavored with my own personality. It shines through in every single one. I'm super confident, kind of dickhead sometimes, but driven as hell, and it shows. It's magnetic. People love it.
If you like stuff like this, I'd recommend you follow me then use the link in my bio to get on my email list.
I'll have 20k on here by the end of the year, don't miss out on the fun ;)
Once you get some momentum, don’t you dare let it fucking go.
