The only appropriate govt response to vaping is appreciative awe. Finally, here is a smoking cessation method which actually works.
I remember getting the NHS stop smoking kit years ago, when I was trying to quit. They sent a stress ball. The sheer cuntiness of it.
Only someone who had never smoked in their lives would send that, or recommend gum or patches. Vaping is the way. And Juul, if you can find one, is the pinnacle of it.
Govt job is to get out the way and simply keep track of research on harm, of which there is currently no evidence. Do not regulate it unnecessarily and do not tax it unnecessarily.
Oh, quick addition to that: the Allen Carr book also works. It should be read by anyone trying to quit & also anyone in the business of changing minds. It shows structured rational argument can be deeply effective.
