On Monday 1,000s of hard-left activists will take to Twitter to say Labour must refuse to accept the internationally accepted definition of antisemitism.

No, seriously.
Peter Willsman's @CLPD_Labour is leading this campaign to "protect freedom of speech" by redefining antisemitism.

A few weeks ago he claimed never to have seen antisemitism in the Labour Party and ranted about the Jewish community on tape.
Willsman's far-left Campaign for Labour Party Democracy demands accountability from party officials, but has hidden his contact details on the campaign's website so he can't be lobbied like his fellow NEC members.

In my Guardian article yesterday I claimed that Corbyn and his team want to rewrite @TheIHRA definition on #antisemitism to neuter @UKLabour's own rule against antisemitism. This is key to understanding what they are trying to do and I'll explain it a bit more here /1
If a party member is disciplined for antisemitism it is always under the rule against conduct that is "prejudicial, or... grossly detrimental to the party." This used to be at the discretion of the NEC /2
This changed last September when party conference made the expression of antisemitism and other prejudice an automatic offence. The old rule is on the left, new rule on the right /3

1. A thread on the proposed changes by @UKLabour @JennieGenSec & @jeremycorbyn to the internationally accepted definition of antisemitism. Labour antisemites often tell Jews where we come from, how we should express our religion & our politics.
2. They dictate to Jews almost everything to do with our ethnicity, this is called denying Jews self determination. They @UKLabour members do this under the guise of being “pro Palestinian” but really it’s because of their visceral hatred of Jews.
3. The IHRA definition of Antisemitism is clear that this is completely unacceptable: “Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.”
