People with power and privilege don’t want to compete against people who don’t have power and privilege. And when you don’t want to compete, where do you turn?

People with power and privilege see others who don't have power and privilege competing with them using their free speech rights. They don't like competition. Competing runs the risk of losing. So they turn to the government. stoehr.substack.com/p/its-not-abou…
free-speech warriors are not as universal in their concern for free-speech rights as they claim to be. They tend to be choosy, focusing more on college campuses than on instances in which the government violates an individual’s free-speech rights. stoehr.substack.com/p/its-not-abou…
