4/ Maybe we could but not when we are about to torch our global regulatory trading system.

Maybe @JasonJHunter could help him on that and I imagine at a rate less than Deloitte charge.
5/ Maybe plucky @LiamFox could explain why the UK proposes that it’s own WTO schedules remain exactly the same when it leaves the EU?
6/ Maybe we will be an exporter of public tax revenues by slashing taxes?
7/ Or maybe we will export jobs and wage growth
8/ Still it is not all doom and gloom. The fishing industry faces catastrophe if there is no deal? Who knew?

If only we had an MEP with years of experience of being on the Fisheries Committee. One that actually attended and really knew his pollocks

@NickBoles with all due respect this is what GOV should have worked up before triggering article 50 and asked Parliament to support as a pragmatic compromise.

But no. And now the PM champions ending FOM - FOM would need to be (and should be) a key part of your plan.
But GOV refused to build consensus, stoked division with its “citizen of nowhere”, “bargaining chip”, “queue jumper” rhetoric, lies about the cost of Brexit and ignores breaches of electoral law
I think we should remain in the EU but would have accepted your proposal if that had been on the table from 24 June 2016. A pragmatic compromise.

Indeed your plan should have been the minimum baseline for the UK

I welcome your efforts to find a solution but...

I want to be clear, opposition to the #sealhunt is #WhiteSupremacist and #racist in nature. It is absolutely clear to me that, at best, organizations like @peta ignore their impact on #Inuit. At worst, they're party to an intended programme of starvation.
In the entire course of her documentary, @Alethea_Aggiuq tried meeting with #vegan and #animalrights activists to discuss their impact on #indigenous communities. Every single attempt at communication was met with silence or avoidance.

If the report in the Telegraph is true about the UK government “taking the moral high ground”, we are with the3million: this is two years too late. The time for taking the moral high ground was June 2016. 1/5
The UK should have made it clear from the beginning that the existing rights of EU citizens would be confirmed then – instead, the EU had to make a comprehensive offer on citizens’ rights first in May 2017 before the UK followed with an inferior counter offer in June 2017. 2/5
Also deeply disappointing that the language appears to be couched around the need for labour, and to avoid labour shortages, rather than welcoming EU27 as human beings who have made their lives in the UK and contributed to UK life in so many ways. But... 3/5

1/ UK is going to guarantee #citizensrights of EU citizens in the UK without the EU, one sided - unilaterally - in case of no deal Brexit leaked papers show. Claiming the moral high ground over the EU.

2/ The time for unilateral guarantees and claiming the moral high ground passed a long time ago though. Together with the @BritishInEurope we pleaded with the UK Govt to take that moral high ground for months after the referendum. It fell on deaf ears.

3/ instead UK Govt reduced EU citizens in the UK & the @BritishInEurope down to Brexit negotiation capital. Made us a #BargainingChip. Unilateral guarantee would have been the right until triggering Article 50. It would have created much needed goodwill.

Yesterday July 22, 1999, marked exactly 19 years since Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim Buhari resigned from office as Speaker of the House of Representatives & Member of the House of Representatives over allegations of certificate forgery all of which he admitted.
The allegations included falsifying his date of birth; forging his first degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; forging a degree in Business Administration from the University of Toronto, Canada, and forging his NYSC Certificate.
His resignation read in part,
"I apologize to you. I apologize to the nation. I apologize to my family & friends for all the distress I have caused. I was misled in error by zeal to serve the nation. I hope the nation will forgive me & give me the opportunity to serve again.”

The whataboutists on the left may be right, the right may have issues with anti-semitism, but lets think that through....
1 - That mean naff all to someone on the left till their own house is in order. NAFF ALL! "We are only as bad as the BNP" is hardly a defence is it? When you are constantly claiming the moral high ground try actually being morally better yeah?
2 - Now I may have missed it but I don't remember May sitting by silent while one of her MPs was racially abused in front of her, perhaps someone can show me that?
