The Urinary tract is made up of Kidneys, Bladder,....
A variety of Microorganisms can cause UTI. And UTI's are quite common.
Women are more prone to UTI's..
Symptoms of UTI, include,
Pain, Burning Sensation when Urinating,
Urgency (inability to hold pee),
Frequency ( urinating more often),
Cloudy, Bloody Urine,
Lower abdominal pain,
Pain in the Sides (Flank)
Fever, etc
These include.
Pregnant women,
Diabetics,
Elderly,
People with Immunecompromise (HIV,TB)
People with Kidney stones
People with Catheters.
However, UTI's are common, even in Healthy people.and some persons, have "recurrent"....
To prevent UTI, especially in persons who have recurrent infections,
Drink plenty of water,
Pee after Sex
Wipe from front to back
Dont Douche, or use "Vaginal products"
Dont hold urine for too long.
Again! Drink plenty of water!
In addition, Your Dr may prescribe Medications for prevention, especially if you are at risk.
