Thing I learned this week: when pollsters test Republican messaging on Republican voters about the Republican tax bill, it makes them less likely to vote Republican.
The total absence of messaging about the tax bill from GOP campaigns isn’t happening simply bc Repubs find racist fearmongering to be more effective. It’s because talking about their tax heist actually backfired, even with their own people.
