The western shore of Hudson Bay is prime polar bear territory - yet the ice is breaking up earlier and earlier in the year, and coming much later. When I was there with @PolarBears at Halloween, there was snow, but no ice in sight. Follow @AEDerocher and @GeoffYork for updates.
