BREAKING: Supreme Court denies the foreign country-owned company's request to stay a contempt order resulting from its refusal to comply with a grand jury's subpoena. Chief Justice Roberts' "administrative stay" is vacated, so the result is the contempt order is back in effect.
That order of the court follows this request, made Monday but put on the docket today, to file a cert petition in the case under seal. Not clear what will happen with that now, but the contempt order (and associated fines) will now be back in place.

JUST IN: Natalia Veselnitskaya — the lawyer in the Trump Tower meeting — was indicted related to her alleged actions the Prevezon matter (a hearing for which she also attended on that day in June 2016) on Dec. 20, 2018. The case was unsealed today. assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5677…

Sikieng was in SF because she’s doing yet another prestigious development program. She’s here with other fellows from Asia.

This is separate from the recent Women in Tech award she was recently nominated for. Ugh she’s so cool. 🤩🤩
Very few people wanted to meet with me when I first started Cambodians in Tech. Some people stood me up. Most ignored me.

Two people, however, ended up meeting up with me. Adrienne (of Geeks in Cambodia) and Sikieng! Both were obviously super helpful.

Every demography & geography is different. The nature of social mobility, changes to residual income & residual time, mean retail market fit AND availability must be different. Not only that, it changes over time.

The restrictions on opening hours comes form a time when there was a lot of residual time during the day. This was mirrored across the world (source: @pewresearch)
As well as antequated views, those days also had a cost of living which was lower relative to salary. This huge reduction in residual income over time has meant less parents stay at home & more childcare.

In case there's anyone who is still somehow unaware, back in January Johann Hari released his new book about depression and how it 'really' works and can be cured, accompanied with a gargantuan publicity campaign and many endorsements.
