Vote "no" for Kavanaugh thread

I read a book summarizing the history of SCOTUS. The Warren & LBJ years are remarkable and appear to represent the pinnacle of our Democracy. LBJ pushed through anti-discrimination laws as the SCOTUS reinforced them. 1/4
LBJ was an ethical man. As a teacher he was stunned witnessing the poverty of black students. LBJ knew he would lose his constituents. He did. A wave of racist Democrats joined the GOP.

Clearly discrimination based on race has been the tacit, now obvious GOP platform since.
Afterwards, the SCOTUS Republican appointees and the SCOTUS during Republican presidencies have been regressive, disregarding Democratic values & ideals. 3/4
Kavanaugh is the worst candidate. It appears the GOP wants to thwart progress for The People through corrupt and often criminal practices to line the pockets of the rich. He is the least popular candidate in decades. 4/4

Maybe other states have similar protections. Licensed service providers, e.g. physicians, therapists & a slew of professions can't provide services after committing some crimes. A background check is mandatory. I will tweet the 7 pages because it's interesting.
Why can felon politicians run for office when they are precluded from so many jobs in Alaska? We are letting dangerous individuals obtain governing offices.
The barrier crime list is thorough & extensive. DUI? 5 years.

Many prominent people were involved with this Cosmic Movement as we will see. One of them was Tomáš Masaryk (who became the first President of Czechoslovakia) also the Princess of Rohan in Vienna and many others. However this group was actually a spin-off of the OTO.
