If she's resigning, then EU will have to work out how to manage an extension of Art.50, because nothing will happen until end of this yr in UK

If she's going to call an early GE to reinforce her mandate, then likewise

3/
If she's going to lay down a super-hard red line on concessions to Chequers, then also can't see progress on WA in near future

4/
If she's going to apologise for the Salzburg 'confusion', then Art.50 will be much on track, but only for the brief time until her party rise up

5/
If she just wants to try and do a presser without hiccups, then maybe the impact will be limited

6/
If she's just unveiling her own Instagram account, then we can have a quiet weekend

7/
In sum, if she does do anything other than the last one, life will likely get more, not less, complicated

On gvt side, how senior a figure gets wheeled out to make the case for? Probably not the top level (save them for next w/e), but can they find someone with an air of genuine enthusiasm for it all?

EU Brexit backstop plan 'remains unacceptable' ... can I assume any extension of the transition will be coupled with a withdrawal agreement confirmation of UK payment to the EC despite the lack of a FTA i.e. "open your wallet, we will help ourselves" - theguardian.com/politics/2018/…
I do hope either UK Gov has been seriously investing in / planning for a no deal WTO scenario or preferably an EEA type play or this is just careful stage management because it does look like that the EC views that the UK is bluffing and is willing to push the issue.
Anyway, these negotiations were always going to be a tough round of theatre and positioning, a constant yo-yo between no deal and maybe deal, of threats and warnings. The pressure for those involved, including May, must be immense.

I am becoming more sure as every twist of the #Brexit knife happens, that the same mindset that was behind Hitler's policies in Nazi Germany are being subtly or will be openly enacted here upon a #nodealbrexit
Let me unpick this .....
Right from the start of the campaign ~ generated to keep Cameron in power and stave off the 'bastards' sic.Major on the right/UKIP, pure racism was allowed and encouraged in the press. A subtle game was played whereby legit EU citizens were turned into 'illegal migrants. #brexit
Outright lies of Leave.EU and Voteleave were never publically opposed by any MPs ~ and indeed, the *crimes* committed by both organisations are not being investigated by the police,nor Govt declared the ref null & void on what has been uncovered by @carolecadwalla

Just a few thoughts on being 'reliable' as I prepare to send yet another email to cancel a meeting. This meeting was set up specifically for me & was especially exciting and important to me. It is the first meeting. The last thing I want to do is postpone. Is that even an option?
But not being 'reliable' is something I can't control because I can't control my dx. This past year has been particularly bad for unpredictability, flares, old symptoms demanding new attention, new symptoms & dx's deciding they want to join in this gong show, injuries...

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
