I Love My Husband @VinceSchilling For SO Many Reasons...

Too Many to Count.

I am ConVINCEd (Get it? hee hee) He is a Superhero.

Here is a Thread on One of the Many Reasons I Love Him...
Vincent Became a Leitenant in the Army.

Before that, He was a Medac and was Working in the Private Sector as a Phlebotomist.

This was in San Francisco and Happened to be at the Exact Time the AIDs Epidemic Started. It was Not Yet Called AIDs.

(Cont)
Much to @VinceSchilling Dismay, The People Workin with him Called it "The Gay Disease".

Vincent was Not Asigned to what was and Became the AIDs Ward.
He was Working on a Different Floor Until He Overheard Two of His CoWorkers Arguing...
They were Saying Really Nasty Things and Fighting Over Who was Going to Have to "Deal with Those People".

Sadly, As soon as Patients Tested Positive, They Passed very Quickly after.

The Workers Kept Arguing and Making Comments about how They Didn't Want to Touch "Them".
It was at that Moment that @VinceSchilling Stepped in and Said, "You Know What?! I'm Going to Do it! They Don't Have Long to Live, and I Really Don't Want their Last Interactions to Be with YOU."

He was Then Assigned to the AIDs Ward.
He Watched People He Met and Cared about Waste away and Die.

He Smiled and Made Jokes, and Always Thought about the Fact he Might Be the Last Interaction they Had.
I Pointed Out to @VinceSchilling that he was Only a Young Man Himself and That it had to Be Painful for him to lose people he Cared for.

He Said He had Never Thought about that.

And, That is Another Reason I Love @VinceSchilling. ❤️
