Any objective person could see that last few weeks have been among the worst for the media in recent history. They abandoned all standards & started acting out as activists. Much of that was on Twitter which I won't rehash, but I want to put some of the worst examples in 1 place:
NBC News was the worst outlet by far. They had 4 awful viral stories that fell apart and were embarrassing. Notice the overlap in reporters.

The New Yorker came in a close second with their two awful stories from Ronan Darrow and Jane Mayer. Here is my full thread going through both of those stories:
The Washington Post had too many bad stories to list (especially from their opinion section), but particularly egregious was their "fact-check" of Kavanaugh's testimony:

Also, their reporters were awful on Twitter:
Of course the biggest problem was that many reporters and outlets would spread dishonest or misleading stories from other outlets/people:

There are hundreds more examples, but this is a good start. Pay attention to the bylines on some of these stories. These "journalists" no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt. These outlets have to demonstrate some standards to get their credibility back.
