1. Deconstruct the Skill
This will help you decide what part of the skills will actually help you get to what you want, then you can practice those first. So practice the most important things first.
Get 3 - 5 resources about what it is you are trying to learn (Books, Youtube Expert etc). But don't use it as a way to procrastinate. You only need to learn just enough so you can actually practice and self-correct or self-edit as you practice.
Distractions: Television, Internet, all the stuff that stops you sitting down and doing the work.
The major barrier to learning something new is NOT Intellectual it is Emotional. Tips and tricks isn't it, we are scared! Feeling stupid doesn't feel good.
