They say the site specific tax means if you don’t go to the games then it won’t affect you.
The tax is based on ticket sales/concessions, etc. They’re looking for a land agreement for stadium from the state, same as they’d give any other downtown business.
Jim Kavanaugh just told me a good target year for completion of the stadium and to start playing soccer is 2022.
