I’m gay, and I’m fabulous! 😁

That’s probably not a surprise to you.

Like many people, coming out of the closet wasn’t easy for me. Here’s my story.

The Trump admin cut the advertising budget for the ACA by 90%.

FOIA obtained emails show this was knowingly designed to harm enrollment, and they repeatedly lied about that fact.

Dem House oversight puts an end to the sabotage. Remember what they did when they had the power.
On a call w/ reporters, in response to whether HHS had studied the efficacy of advertising, an official said, “We haven’t done a specific study related to the public awareness of the program.”

It was a lie. They had, & knew it would harm enrollment.

The day open enrollment began, the Trump administrator of ACA benefits wrote a tweet designed to scare Americans away from enrolling.

Now that Dems have won House oversight, she’s promoting enrollment. Oversight stops the sabotage.

Remember when I said I'd do the thread about the FDA's changing attitudes towards suicide as a side effect? I'ma do that now. This thread will talk about suicide and pharmaceuticals, mostly diet drugs. It won't be graphic but may be upsetting.
So, around 2004, there started to be a change in how the FDA viewed suicide as a side effect. To explain that, I should probably explain how the FDA treated it beforehand, so I'm going to share some stuff with you about stuff that came out during the fen-phen trials about redux.
In 1993 a neurologist named Dr. John Lehmann shared information with the FDA that he believed needed to be acted upon urgently. He'd worked as a researcher with Servier between 88 and 90 looking at the way Pondimin and Redux (diet drugs) worked on the brain.

1. Overall, it's a pretty good piece. It's respectful to the church-goers, tries to understand them without making them anthropological exhibits.
2. It's also a step up from the usual "Yup, Trump dead-enders are still with Trump" pieces because it tries to answer that vexing question: WTF, evangelicals? You're going with THAT sinner?
