As others have pointed out this appears to have developed much like Pepe the frog ...out of the 4chan netherworld of the internet. Reading the timeline of this fake account @BKrassenstein69 they are using to troll the real account @Krassenstein gives u the very racist flavor

Love the tool Hoaxy. Using it we were very quickly able to identify roughly 50 Twitter accounts all very related and most created this month. I am sure there are many more. #NPC #infosec #opsec

Many of the #NPC accounts reference the website nationalprogressivecoalition(.)org which was just registered today. I am guessing something GREAT will be created at that site in the coming days. #NPCmeme #opsec #infosec

I realize this is a big joke on some chat board somewhere ...but then again Pepe the Frog was thought 2b a big joke. Others have pointed out that knowingly promoting the wrong Election date Nov 7th is actually a felony. Its Nov 6th in case that isnt clear #NPCmeme #disinformation

@NPC454510 claims to be the founder of the Nationalprogressivecoalition(.)org . Oddly this account has promoted Infowars & hashtags like #cancelwhitepeople ...so no this is not a legitimate account / Hlllary supporter and certainly not a real left-leaning activist group #NPCmeme

Hoaxy graph of the @npc_brennan account which is another core account. One thing thats interesting is the social-networks emanating from these #NPC accounts seem to have very neutral bot scores. Almost perfectly neutral. Not Human & not bot. So I guess maybe grey #GreyLivesMatter

Looks like one of the other core accounts @WHORMY_NPC has already taken evasive measures and either deleted the account or changed their handle. My guess is changed their handle. Thankfully we have already archived their data & just need to find the twitter ID

Looks like @ushadrons solved the mystery on @WHORMY_NPC he found they changed their handle to @stef_on_knee but now that account is already restricted #NPC #NPCmeme #greylivesmatter

Out of the original 50 I found last night only @WHORMY_NPC and @NPC2315668 have either deleted or changed their handle in the case of WHORMY_NPC changing to @stef_on_knee Not sure why just these two accounts along it sounds like the number of NPC accounts has grown into the 100s

So it looks like @Twittersafety has already taken action. Most of the #NPC accnts have been suspended. Some of the core accounts that changed their handles appear 2b live but I am sure Twitter is keeping an eye on them. Guessing the Nov 7th was enough to get some banned #NPCmeme
