this is a basket of concerns that Native writers and experts have been talking about for a looooong time, but resisters are coming at them sideways for underlining this work bc blue-wavers primarily understand these issues as inconveniently timed attack on a well-liked Democrat.
Calling someone a racist is a powerful moral charge; since Trump makes that charge particularly easy to level, a lot of ppl who dislike him get the added emotional bonus of feeling like their opposition is a principled stand against racism and not, like, partisan politics.

there are so many issues and questions about race in America that are more nuanced and urgent than the blunt, shallow #ImWithHer/#resist framing allows, and it's dangerous to bind those concerns up in some center-left Democrat's political ambitions.
