We’ve had marches and media whiplash. We’ve had a constant barrage of lies. We’ve had conspiracies, denials and manipulations. We’ve had postcard parties and propaganda flying left and right. That’s 2018.

But my biggest takeaway is you. Not our awesome candidates or our belligerent “president”. Not the marches or the media frenzy. My takeaway is the hope for a better tomorrow that has driven so much GOOD. Active good. Good trouble.

YOU are thinking about and talking about how to build a better country. How to restore order. Save the environment. Protect the vulnerable. And that gives me the most hope of all.

Whatever happens on November 6th, I know we’ll form a united front. We’ll be battle tested and ready to take on the next challenge. I’m so thankful for that. I have faith in you. In us.
