still more pretrial motions in the james alex fields case tomorrow. so far these have all been pretrial conferences in the judge's chambers, but it's worth the time sitting in an empty courtroom in case anything of substance does get said on the record.
the man who killed heather heyer & injured dozens of others faces trial in just a few weeks. i've spent countless hours sitting in near-empty courtrooms in charlottesville over the past year. the attention this trial will get will fill those often-empty chambers to capacity.
i am concerned that this influx of out of town reporters will leave me boxed out. i'm interested in talking with a news outlet that *does not* provide a platform for fascists about ensuring i have press credentials & access to the courtroom i've spent the past year in.
