So why does the BBC allow the Taxpayers Alliance to appear on innumerable programmes, without having to declare who funds it? #DarkMoney has taken over the airwaves, and broadcasters have failed to apply due diligence.

It seems that the only people who haven't yet twigged that the Taxpayers Alliance, the Institute of Economic Affairs and the Adam Smith Institute are not independent thinktanks but #DarkMoney-funded lobby groups are BBC editors. So much for curiosity, research and insight.
I used to be one of the BBC's staunchest defenders. But its craven submission to billionaires and their interests is a national disgrace.
