Manafort lied about a $125K payment made toward a debt incurred by Manafort to a firm working for him in 2017 - the payment came from (Firm A) which performed work for (Entity B) - Manafort has a long relationship with the heads of Firm A and Entity B

an interesting side note - Tom Barrack who reportedly brought Manafort into the Trump campaign and who headed up Trump's inaugural committee was also an important business partner of Richard Tice, the co-founder of pro-Brexit LeaveEU with Arron Banks
NYT reports that the $125K Manafort lied about was from the Rebuilding America Now PAC, which had been set up in 2016 by Tom Barrack with $32 million from 4 key donors - including $6 million from Linda McMahon (now Trump's Small Business Administrator)
