There is a lot of things to be excited about in the #tabletop #rpg games hobby. As much as we need to be critical of text, and folks making games, there's a lot to be thankful for as well. Particular if you're privileged enough to have a gaming group where you can try new stuff.
Being a part of the @GauntletRPG has allowed me to play 50 systems this year. 50!!!! Roll20 forums and in-person groups in Calgary, Alberta had me fucking starving for other systems because all anyone played with Saga Star Wars, Pathfinder, and D&D--and those games aren't for me.
In any given week I play 3 different systems and bi-monthly I playtest my own games, usually. When I'm not writing, anyway. There are so many games, especially indie games, I'm excited for and so much on the Gauntlet schedule that I'm looking forward to.
It's pretty awesome that a lot of OSR stuff is getting played in this space now, too. At the start of the year I had little knowledge of what the landscape and appeal was and a few key folx in the Gauntlet, including Jason himself, are big proponents of those new experiences.
It's also pretty incredible to see all the design work coming out of The Gauntlet. I think allllllmost every PbtA game that I'm excited for has a community member working on it, sometimes originating because they were in Gauntlet space. It's SO fucking cool to hear about that!!
I've got plans for more Veil2020 content (it's gonna be RFG), Never Knows Best, my FLCL PbtA game; the Tracers supplement for Hack the Planet, Snow Falling On Chrome for the Codex Kickstarter, which is my Blade Runner setup for The Veil. I want to run the Vurt RPG,
try running more OSR stuff, such as The Deep Dark and Neoclassical Geek Revival, both doing cool shit from what I've read of them so far. I'd like to get Chuubo's Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine to the table as well, a fucking Everest of mine. Free From The Yoke,
a hack of Legacy 2e looks very cool. I'd like to try Leverage. Another goal, playing Forbbiden Lands is coming to fruition in Feb, with Lowell running it. The Forest Hymn & Picnic is something I am super curious about, very cool concept, interested to see how it works.
On top of all that, there are so many cool products due out next year. Dream Askew/Apart, Cartel and the cyberpunk hack of it; Nahual (and the cyberpunk hack for it!), Good Society, The Mountain Witch, Flying Circus, Orun, Thousand Arrows. Nibiru, After The War, Emberwind, NTMO~
The Kickstarter for Silent Titans also dropped last night as well, looks weird and cool and neat.

@DungeonCommandr 's Mutants In the Night (dungeoncommandr.itch.io/mutants-in-the…) looks awesome and they just announced an ongoing actual play of it with a ridiculous cast.
There is so much shit to look forward to, it's honestly bonkers.
