The @GDICincinnati leadership team regrets to announce that our Cincinnati chapter will be going on hiatus for an indefinite period of time. Our full statement is here: goo.gl/KwZyTk 
This hiatus is a direct result of failed leadership by @girldevelopit's national leadership team (HQ) following multiple reported incidents where women of color were marginalized, both within chapters as well as within the HQ team itself.
Until leadership takes meaningful steps towards addressing our list of concerns, we feel that continuing to operate under @girldevelopit's identity is a disservice & insult to the women of Cincinnati that have committed their time & energy to make this a safe, uplifting community
During this hiatus, we will not be hosting any events. We will keep our Slack team open for community dialogue. You can also expect to see changes in our local @GDICincinnati leadership team.
