Jerome Corsi pushed a fundraiser over the summer to raise $25,000 for a guy who claimed he needed surgery for bladder cancer. But there are some problems: dailycaller.com/2018/12/13/cor… @dailycaller

A Twitter account purporting to be Mendelsohn has some clues that this is a scam. The avatar for @DrMendelsohn, is a partial photo of a young doctor. (Corsi claimed Mendelsohn practiced for 50 yrs). A reverse image search shows that the photo is of Gabriel Prado, a Brazilian doc. 
Corsi began pushing this fundraiser in June. Nearly every day on his web show, he asked for donations and touted Mendelsohn. He began claiming that Mendelsohn cured his wife's cousin of stage 4 liver cancer in Israel.
After declaring Sickler cured of cancer, Corsi suggested he would set up another fundraiser to raise money for living expenses. Corsi was subpoenaed by Mueller shortly after, so that died down.
When I called Corsi yesterday, he said he believed that Sickler was cured. He said he's met Sickler. When I told him that Mendelsohn appears not to exist, he responded below:
But then I asked Corsi about his repeated claims that his wife's cousin was cured by Mendelsohn. The response:
Corsi denies receiving anything from this fundraiser and claims it was legitimate. Sickler didn't respond to any requests for interviews. Mendelsohn could not be reached for comment for reasons that should be clear
