Lilico, Mogg & other brexiters whine now about how the EU has "bullied" the UK however the 2 quotes below show how their intent to bully has catastrophically backfired

Fact is brexiters in their Empire nostalgia arrogance (linked to a belief that the EU, being foriners, would naturally defer to England) utterly misjudged the opposition
Instead of acknowledging this they've grabbed at "no deal" in desperation & pretend it was always the plan

And now if you play back what they are saying it jumps from no deal, to "World Trade Deal", to "managed" no deal (when is a deal not a deal? When its managed apparently) to using no deal as a bluff to get a better deal, and back to no deal again
It's not unfair to say Brexit leaders are genuinely idiots. But worse, they are idiots with no integrity or honesty. "exact same benefits" Davis can go on TV and say "no deal is nothing to fear" whilst at the same time suggesting it's a bluff to get a good deal.
