Being in the Single Market & Customs Union means anything made in this country is automatically legal to sell across Europe without checks or tariffs at the border, which lowers the prices for businesses and therefore consumers.
#NoDealBrexit takes us out of that.

The UK makes 1/2 of its own food and gets 1/3 from mainland Europe. It comes in easily, cheaply and quickly because of that system of making rules together.
So when you hear people talking about damage to our food supply and lorry queues at Dover, that's why. #NoDealBrexit

Being an EU citizen means all Brits have the right to live work and love across Europe without having to compete for a visa.
#NoDealBrexit removes the citizenship which 1.4 million Brits rely upon for their right to work in their jobs and live in their own homes.

Being in the Single Market & Customs Union means the same consumer safety laws & tariffs apply on both sides of the Irish border. So there's no requirement to check products as there's no incentive to smuggle. So the Good Friday Agreement stays intact.
#NoDealBrexit changes that.

#NoDealBrexit means we are no longer part of the same market as the rest of Europe. That means that any big business that wants to distribute its products across Europe will no longer see the UK as a strategic base of production. (e.g. for factories)

#NoDealBrexit means we are no longer part of the EURATOM agreement. That is the mechanism which allows for safe transport of radioactive materials across Europe. We don't make these materials here. But NHS Cancer treatments depend on them.

#NoDealBrexit means that all of the things the EU has spent half a century putting in place to make trade cheaper between EU countries no longer apply to British businesses. What do you think that does to our ability to compete in our own continent, against EU companies?
