1) where's the democratic outrage?
Watching today's PMQs I cannot believe this story isn't the headline everywhere, on every news program & newspaper

The UK Prime minister is blackmailing the country with her #Brexit deal, and we're letting it happen

2) repeatedly in PMQs the PM was asked "will you rule out the chaos of No Deal" & her only response was "if you dont like it, vote for my deal"

No discussion, no other options. Deal held back deliberately for no reason other than to scare MPs & the country into submission

3) this is outrageous, it's a complete contempt of democratic principles. By a PM who has the absolute thinnest mandate possible.

Never elected in her own party, lost majority in a GE, propped up with a cash bribe to the DUP, with a deal that's universally hated.

4) a non meaningful vote, my way or chaos, with the clock being run down, whilst the country turns increasingly to Remain. This is a PM trying to bully parliament & the entire country to accept her anti migrant personal version of #Brexit

5) this is the closest the UK has come to a dictatorship in hundreds of years, an absolute stubborn, cynical attempt to play chicken with the entire country & a trashing of the entire democratic process.

6) the one final defense was that any #Brexit bill had to go before parliament, and Parliament could then take back control

So now we're hearing May may not actually put anything before parliament to let us fall out if she doesn't get her way

7) whatever side you are on, this cannot be allowed. It should be on every news channel, every newspaper. It is *the* story, almost more than Brexit itself, a PM intent on bludgeoning or bypassing parliament

8) let's not forget, this PM has fought to prevent Parliament having a say, or the information it needs, at every single stage. Her instincts are authoritarian & anti democratic

There is something deeply disturbing in her outlook

This is very serious

9) the choice cannot be "my personal #Brexit interpretation or economic catastrophe"

Parliamentarians have sat back, overconfident that our checks & balances would constrain the PM, not fully appreciating how she would bend & bypass them

They need to wake up
