It’s good that very blatant antisemtism is being called out but crikey does it have to take the literal blood libel on the front of a newspaper before someone (not even the bookshop owner) realises?
The elephant in the room is that this kind of racism is one one two degrees of separation from the Labour leadership. Eg Jewish Voice for Labour, which both Corbyn and McDonnell have strongly supported...

... an antisemite who Williamson claims not to have know was more than a jazz musician. Which nobody should believe.
Because the Labour leadership are kind of implicated what we are left with is people in the Labour movement basically subtweeting about antisemitism. Eg Momentum making a video about David Icke not cos he’s a Labour member but because Labour members are sharing his mad posts...
... and Owen Jones tweeting that Gilad Atzmon is a terrible antisemite rather than tweeting the dirty secret that isn’t a secret to anyone at all that Chris Williamson actually knew he wasn’t just a jazz musician when he tweeted support for him
It’s a big dirty embarrassment for the principled people in the Labour movement - and since the leadership are more or less backing the ‘it’s a smear’ line and deniers like JVL all they can do (except stand up to it) is subtweet...
People need to show a little more backbone... but I’m not hopeful.
