1) #FBPE & Corbyn, a personal tale
I really would love to not be talking on Twitter every day about Corbyn. But the fact is, he is one of the most high profile & most prolificpro #Brexit supporters out there

And he's misleading people

2) the one thing that will help us move forward is the realisation that there are only 3 options for #Brexit, no deal, May's deal or Remain.

Once people realise that, and that both leave options are rubbish, it will focus minds

Corbyn is deliberately preventing that happening
3) Corbyn is now essentially the loudest voice lying to people about a mythical 4th #Brexit option

He is selling snake oil, consciously & deliberately, saying "no, we don't have to accept May's deal, there's a jobs first, fairly painless deal available if we just tried harder"
4) Starmer admitted back in November, the time has passed for a Labour negotiated deal, if it ever existed.
A GE will not change anything because the options will be the same, and yet Corbyn is still pushing the myth of a "better Brexit"

5) I genuinely do not understand why people can a) believe a better Labour style Brexit deal can be done in 88 days or b) internalise that Corbyn is lying to people and follow him anyway

We've never had a more dishonest opposition leader, why are people still following him?

You can't get to an agreement & you can't afford the payments so you stop paying

2) there's this idea that we save £39b if we #Brexit with no deal.
The obligation still exists, we've already agreed this. We're not "buying a deal" we're meeting commitments.
If we crash out & don't pay we're just sending a message, the UK is untrustworthy as well as incompetent
3) if you're the kind of person who thinks it's OK for the UK to walk away from a debt its already agreed to then you're probably the kind of person who doesn't pay his fair share of a meal, or gets his round in, or returns that borrowed drill

1) There is one reason why remainers have "bashed Corbyn" and its this

Because its always been obvious that Labour represented a large & growing Remain group, and that Corbyn was pro #Brexit, working against that Remain attitude

2) Corbyn "Remainers" have continously reinterpreted Corbyn's words, projected their beliefs onto him, pressed on "the long game", stated "he's just following policy", said "he hasn't the numbers" and generally gone through hoops to avoid the obvious truth - Corbyn is a brexiter
3) instead of making statements like "#FBPE is a Corbyn bashing cult" it would be more honest to recognise that Corbyn is against his party & membership on #Brexit, the biggest issue of the age, and always has been. And this is a disgrace

Defending him on this is also a disgrace

1) the Main democratic outrage of #Brexit was the question

There's lots of talk about how a #PeoplesVote would be a democractic outrage but the reality is the major democratic disaster was the Leave/Remain referendum question

And sooner or later we're going to have to face it
2) the problem is "Leave" as an option is a blank canvas, but when examined it always, in any analysis, breaks out into at least 2 very different versions
a) a deal which prioritises the economy over sovereignty
b) a deal which does the reverse
And they are irreconcilable
3) and the entire reason for the mess that we're in now is because sufficient numbers of public figures have been too cowardly, cynical or stupid to accept this fundamental division in Leave options

#brexit is a belief, a religion. There's no evidence to support it. It is just a blinkered faith. They believe what they want to believe. Their leaders are preachers, not politicians, & their reaction to doubting them is that of nothing less than a religious fundamentalist #FBPE
2. As such many will quite literally do this for some kind of reward in the next life or for a "cause" for their fellow followers. And when you read the words of some of their protagonists that is exactly what one sees.
3. And we must ask how it is possible so many have been converted to this religious extremism. In general it will the same as elsewhere, hardship, poverty, hate, a conditioned mind that is made to believe a specific group is the cause of their troubles.

Over the past week or so we've had a Neo-Nazi thug taking video footage at court in order to rile up race hate in a manner reminiscent of the Brownshirts of old.

We've had numerous people call for his release in "mainstream" news like Fox and The Spectator.
We've also had a member of Parliament and one time leader of the Conservative party demand that people all line up behind his vision or literally leave the country entirely.

It appears to be imported from Trumpkin America, where similar efforts to divide the anti-Trump 'resistance' have been quite successful.

It's 'Fake #FBPE'
2. I first became aware of attempts to divide the anti-Brexit movement back in the late summer. It began with an approach by one 'Barry G's Ghost' - a supposed anti-Trump Republican who was now turning his/her/their attention to Brexit Britain.

I played along, to learn more.
3. 'Barry' made a slightly cloak and dagger approach to me via DM, with 'information' concerning certain high profile anti-Brexit accounts.

It was at the height of the Russia hysteria

We switched to secure double-encrypted email to discuss this revelation in a safer environment
