Dele Momodu has turned himself and his weekly pendulum into instrument of doom and gloom.

PMB has said that as a victim of fraudulent elections & a beneficiary of a transparent one he will keep the fire burning ala #Febuhari. That seems lost on Apostle Dele.

On his today's epistle riddled with well disguised bile which he can deny it's existence, he went into a diatribe by regurgitating stale cliches.

First, he paid glowing tributes to the troubled waters the economy ran into in Baba's 1st & 2nd coming while downplaying the......

profligacy of the discredited and dislodged politicians & their surviving elements of whom he has become a paid agent. Or can he honestly claim that the piece in question is deviod of any taint of unmet expectations which he admitted but disguised as patriotic zeal?

Secondly, he talked about PMB having fanatical supporters who he likened to kegs of gunpowder. Assuming that is true, can PMB fool all the people all the time? Something smells here.

Third, he said Baba has failed to secure the country. Bob Dee needs to be told in terms clear

and unmistakable that in a world with open & interdependent borders, there can never be absolute security. The question is: how much insecurity are we willing to live with?

Fourth, he talked about PMB not doing enough to motivate the troops in the theatres of operation. Can he

in all honesty say that the situation today is the same fours years ago and that while the war may not be over yet, tremendous progress has been made in containing the insurgents?

Lastly, he poo-pooped FG's Social Investment Scheme as 'being infinitesimal in a country whose

population of over 80% live below the poverty line. One can clearly sense Bob Dee's desperation running riot but he needs to be reminded that these were schemes he & his co-travellers sanctioned while they were singing and dancing around PMB in the run-up to 2015 polls & which

was approved by the discredited NASS.

Bob Dee like any free Nigerian is free to aspire to the highest office in the land or sponsor & or support anybody of their choice. Decency demands that such attempts should be issue-based as against his latest attempt at emotionality.

PMB may not be perfect. Nobody is. The Igbo man will say 'Oha ma dike' which literally means that the people know their true heroes. And yes, PMB is a true Nigerian hero who was & is always there when it mattered most.

PS: Bob Dee also trash-talked FG's War on Corruption by saying that the 'targets' are members of the opposition party. The last time I checked, at the time of their respective convictions, Dariye and Name were in PDP and Orji Uzor Kalu no longer has to have his days in court

because he crossed over to the ruling party. May he and his co-travellers be reminded that the FG's War on Corruption has drawn accolades the world over and from no less person as President Trump himself and John Kerry.

As an icing on the cake, let Bob Dee's candidate & PMB

both go to address the Nigerian community in the US. The rest, as they say, will truly be history.
