What I do not understand is how the Democrats cannot see that government shutdown has more benefits than detriments. Its beenfits include

but are not limited to: .......

a) reduced inefficient spending of tax dollars given govt employees are part of a monopoly that by defnition breeds lazyness,

b) less bureaucrat costs and the desire of the #resist inside the govt to screw up the works

c) no government is good government......

d) less impact on normal human beings and businesses because a divided government is a government at its best – nothing gets screwed up worse......

The best of all is the Senate still can move forward with approving judges and supreme court nominees, ....

which can also be used as negotiating leverage. What leverage do Democrats have other than demonizing and that is all but gone after two years of a constant drumbeat.

It is almost as if Trump wanted to have a Democratically controlled house.....

Nah..This has to merely be a coincidence...Seems like someone is operating with more inside information than we can possibly imagine…. Mueller, Rosenstein, Huber, Horowitz, Nunes, Grahman, Sessions/Whitaker, Mulvaney

n all the folks that “retired” starting with Paul Ryan....

The thing that is never focused on is all the work being done by Mulvaney and Cabinet members that are “free” to do a real "back to founding fathers” transformation of government, while everyone is looking at shiney objects.

Nothing makes sense, wonder what is going on?
