Brexit is killing people. Right now.

Because instead of focusing on homelessness, knife crime, appalling food poverty, and many other issues that lead directly to tragic loss of life, both the Government and the Opposition have been mired in the Brexit mud for over two years.

That's not going to change after Brexit Day.

Ooh, no. Not for one minute.

Brexit Day is the starting pistol on the real negotiations, the proper grownup ones that will define the shape of our future relationship with the EU.

Those could easily go on for decades before every

last matter is sorted to everyone's satisfaction.

So you'd better get used to a distracted Parliament incapable of focusing on vital issues, or of taking decisive action.

Because the Brexit baby is going to keep on screaming and screaming and screaming.

And every contentious

issue along the way will be the opportunity for more posturing, more speeches, more cries of fake news, more red faces across the debating chamber.

While all the while, the stuff that REALLY matters gets pushed further and further and further off the table.
