This point from Wittes was definitely front and center in my mind when reading the Times story:
I think this second point from Wittes is accurate — but also is a point that many, most notably @emptywheel (among those folks I follow), ~have~ been making and one that has already been written into the way I present the investigation in my own writing.
(For example, although Giuliani just calls them the collusion part and the obstruction part of the investigation, I always make clear that it’s him who’s drawing those distinctions and explain what he means by that.)
