Our domestic electoral apparatus has been assaulted by operatives from a Stalin-era apparatus that apparently kept waging a cold war even when we thought it was over and they had lost. You still think #Putin thinks they lost?
Ever since the #Trump campaign hacked the system and got into the white house, there have been people questioning the viability of truth itself as a concept.
Many have asked if truth, or facts are still valid, still available for cognition and decipherable in the course of our day-to-day electronically-dominated discourse.
And then there’s Robert Mueller!

This guy #Mueller and his team are trying to show enough objectivity and truth such that even the Fox 30-percenters have to scratch their heads and admit that their candidate Trump might have been up to no good. #MuellerTime
For us to make it through this crisis, facts will have to work. Truth will have to be displayable for us to win. Then in the aftermath we’ll get to dissect just exactly who was part of the solution and who was part of the problem.
The legal and communication framework that is our political system can be gamed by adversarial self-serving agents both foreign and domestic, that much is evident.
It’s ironic that this assault should take place during the #metoo era because if our democracy was female, she’d be screaming “me too,” after what Putin has done to it.
