POTUS tells ⁦@SpeakerPelosi⁩ he is canceling her trip to Belgium, Egypt and Afghanistan because of the shutdown
More precisely the president is not allowing @SpeakerPelosi and the congressional delegation to use US military aircraft to fly to Belgium (to meet with @NATO leaders) and to Afghanistan (to meet with servicemembers).
3/ A White House official told CNN that Pelosi and the delegation are welcome to fly *commercial* to Afghanistan. Which is a remarkable statement given that the WH just announced this trip to the world, a violation of all security protocols.

The Pentagon has IDed 3 of the 4 Americans killed on Jan. 16, 2019, in Manbij, Syria, as a result of wounds sustained from a suicide improvised explosive device. CNN reported Thursday that the US initial assessment is that ISIS is responsible for the bombing.

Trump, in response to @SpeakerPelosi's cancelation of his SOTU, denies her use of military aircraft to fly into a war zone. Not only did he make public her Afghanistan trip, which he calls a PR "excursion," he suggested that she – 3rd in line for the presidency – fly commercial.

This lastest gun grab is backfiring in epic fashion. With #POTUS using #MAGA to blow the lid off the #MSM narrative, people are looking for answers now more than ever. The first thing many are finding is that schools filled with armed folks that love kids don't get shot up.
This transcends party lines or political ideology. Excluding the hard not-interested-in-facts-or-information left, people wanna protect their kids in the simplest way possible; put a good guy with a gun between them and a bad guy with a gun. Police take a few minutes to get there
